These terms apply to all website users, male and female, from Israel and abroad .
The chapter titles are presented for convenience and orientation and shall not be used as interpretation for the regulations.
“The ticket”: for the purposes of this document – may be purchased on the website. Permits entrance to the conference which will take place on the 24th, 25th, 28th and 29th of July 2019.
“Webmaster”: producers of the conference who may sell tickets via the website, set their prices, and approve entry to the event with them.
“The Conference Website”: the website at the address ‘act-israel.com’ in which the details and content of the conference will be displayed and also where sales of tickets will be permitted.
“Transaction”: the day personal information and credit card details are given on the website for the purpose of payment.
The website ‘act-israel.com’ is operated by The Center for Behavioral Analysis BN 065902579 (from hereon: “the Webmaster”).
The website is intended to allow customers to easily and conveniently receive information, review, examine and purchase tickets to the ACT conference which will take place in July 2019.
The website is operated by the Webmaster.
A user is entitled to use the website as long as the following conditions are met:
The user is eligible to perform binding legal actions;
The user is over the age of 18;
The user has a valid credit card;
The user has an email account on the internet;
The Webmaster is permitted to take down the site for updates and upgrades, and change from time to time its structure, appearance and availability of the services and content provided therein.
The right to use the site is intended specifically for the user and cannot be transferred to any third party.
The services offered on the site are intended for the private and personal use of the customers and not for commercial purposes, and cannot be sold to any third party. The Webmaster is authorized to prevent any customer from participating in and using the site, temporarily or permanently, at their own reasonable discretion, subject to any law, including if they believe that the customer may trade them, without having to explain his decision or inform the customer in advance. The Webmaster also reserves the right, at their reasonable discretion and subject to any law, to cancel the customer’s purchase under these circumstances.
Without detracting the aforementioned, the Webmaster does not restrict the transfer of a ticket to a third party by the end user on a non-commercial basis, in which case all terms and conditions will continue to apply to the new end user. In this event, the end user must contact the Webmaster (i.e. The Center for Behavioral Analysis) via email at email@example.com, and provide the first name, last name, email address and mobile number of the new end user to which the ticket was transferred.
The Webmaster is allowed at any time, for any reason whatsoever, at their sole discretion, to stop the activity of the site and/or cancel a user’s purchase, without the need to give prior notice, in any of the following cases:
If, in the Webmaster’s opinion, the customer intentionally provided incorrect details.
If, in the Webmaster’s opinion, the customer has committed an act or omission that harms or is likely to harm the Webmaster or any third parties.
If the customer's credit card has been blocked or restricted for use in any way or for any reason.
The Webmaster is allowed at any time, for any reason whatsoever, at their sole discretion, to stop the activity of the site and/or ticket sales.
When making a purchase on the site, the customers will be required to provide one or more identifying details about themselves (email address, first name, last name, phone number, ID and credit card details) (hereinafter: "the personal details"). If an order is made without your full details, the Webmaster may cancel the order. By law, you do not have to provide the details on the registration form and supplying them depends solely on you. However, if you did not provide all the requested details, you will not be able to purchase the ticket.
The Webmaster may cancel the purchase, amongst other reasons, if the customer has submitted false or partial information and/or if it becomes clear that a human error or a technical error have occurred in presenting the card details, price, payment terms, etc. In such a case, those who have registered will be sent an appropriate message to their email address (the email address provided by the user upon registration). The Webmaster shall not be held responsible for receiving the cancellation notice at the user's email address, in the event that the email address provided by the user at the time of registration is incorrect or in the event of a technical error or other problem.
The prices displayed in all sales methods include VAT, to the extent required by law, unless expressly stated otherwise.
An approved purchase constitutes a purchase that requires payment of the full amount as offered.
The customer will be charged by the Center for Behavioral Analysis using the credit card details provided by the customer.
When making a purchase on the site, the customer's personal information (name, email and phone number) will be transferred to the Webmaster and to the conference sponsors.
Let it be clarified that only confirmation of the transaction received from the credit card company and confirmation received by the customer's email including the relevant details of the transaction, comprising the transaction number, customer details and details of the transaction, will constitute as confirmation for the Webmaster.
The Webmaster and/or anyone acting on their behalf reserves the right to not accept or cancel any request for the purchase of products and/or services, even after approval from the credit card company, in each of the following cases:
At the reasonable discretion of the Webmaster arises a suspicion that payment for the purchase of the ticket will not be made at all or will not be carried out in full and on time.
There was a mistake in providing the identification and/or information required to make a purchase on the site.
If it turns out that a clerical or technical error has occurred in displaying the ticket details and/or price and/or other details.
In the event a communication error and/or other technical problems occurred that caused a defect in the purchasing process.
If it turns out that there was an illegal activity on someone’s part during the sale.
In cases of force majeure preventing the continuation of the sale and/or its proper management.
The Webmaster will, by their discretion, publish a notice of cancellation of the sale on the purchase page prior to completing the sale and/or will send notice of cancellation to the ticket purchasers to the email address given when purchasing the tickets.
In the case in which the transaction is not approved by the credit card companies, the customer will receive an appropriate notice. In order to complete the purchase, the customer will be required to contact the Webmaster by email or phone with approval from the credit card companies to complete the transaction. It should be clarified that a transaction will be deemed complete only after the approval of the transaction by the credit card companies from the person performing the transaction. If the customer does not provide transaction approval within seven days from the date of the notice of the credit company’s refusal, the Webmaster will be entitled to cancel the purchase request.
In the event of purchasing a ‘friend referral’ ticket, you are obliged to provide the personal information (first name, last name, email address and phone number) of the second registrant for whom you are purchasing this ticket.
Proof of purchase of the ticket should be printed in order to present at the entrance to the conference, or alternatively, to present this certificate via mobile phone at the entrance to the conference, along with a valid ID for identification purposes.
You hereby confirm receiving the receipt by the email address which you provided upon purchasing the ticket/s.
The Webmaster will be entitled to update the minimum number of tickets or the maximum amount of tickets available for purchase.
Browsing the site is free of charge.
Each customer will be charged according to the ticket they selected. The value of the ticket includes VAT.
Upon arrival to the conference, a payment confirmation for the ticket/receipt must be presented, as received by the customer’s email, along with a valid ID.
In the case of a ‘friend referral’ ticket – entrance for 2 participants, each of the participants must provide personal details and present their ID at the entrance to the conference, as well as a payment confirmation / receipt number.
The Webmaster will not be liable for loss, theft, duplication or overprinting of the tickets purchased by the customers.
All types of tickets provide access to all four days of the conference. If the customer chooses for their own reasons not to attend all the conference days, they are not entitled to demand a full or partial refund from the Webmaster.
The Webmaster will not be liable for any direct or indirect damage, financial or other, caused to you as a result of using the ticket and attending the conference.
No refund or compensation will be provided for unused, lost or stolen tickets.
Cancellation of the purchase of a ticket from the site will be in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law, 1981 (the "Consumer Protection Law"), dealing with remote sales, pursuant to section 14C (C), Amendment No. 26, 2010.
For cancellation, please contact the Webmaster by email. The application shall include the details of the purchaser, including ID and receipt number.
Only the customer who paid for the ticket can cancel their purchase. In other words, you can reimburse only the credit from which the purchase was made.
Cancellation terms - The customer may cancel the purchase within 14 days from the date of the transaction, provided that the cancellation is made at least two weekdays prior to the conference. Subject to the aforesaid, within 14 days from the date of receiving notice of cancellation, the purchaser shall be reimbursed with the same amount they paid, less a cancellation fee at the rate of 5% of the sum of the transaction or 100 NIS, whichever is lower, and less the clearing commission collected at the time of the purchase.
If a customer purchased a ‘friend referral’ ticket – entrance for 2 participants and wants to cancel one of the tickets, the Webmaster will leave a relative portion of the transaction at the value of a single ticket (according to its price on the conference site as of the day of cancelling the transaction), and the customer will be refunded the difference, less 5% of the value of the returned proportion or 100 NIS, whichever is lower, and less the clearing commission collected on the clearance of the relative part that was canceled.
It is not possible to cancel the purchase of a ticket of any type 48 hours from the start of the conference. From July 22nd at 8:00am, no cancellations will be approved, and cancellation at this time will be charged 100% of the cost.
Upon cancellation of the transaction, the ticket will be canceled and will not be able to be presented / used for entrance to the conference.
In the event of cancellation of the conference by the conference producers / Webmaster, the full amount paid for the tickets purchased will be refunded to the purchasers. However, there will be no additional monetary compensation to any of the purchasers for the incidental expenses incurred by the purchasers in order to be present at the conference.
The Webmaster shall, to the best of their ability, protect the personal details as defined in section 8a above, in order to protect the privacy of the customer. However, the webmaster cannot guarantee that their systems are immune to break-ins and/or unauthorized entrance into their systems, and in such a case, the customer will have no claim on the matter.
The User acknowledges and agrees that all information provided to the Webmaster at the time of registration to the site and/or arising from their activity on the site, including information collected about the customer while browsing, will be stored in the Webmaster’s database. Registration to the site and use of it constitutes permission for the Webmaster to store such data.
The Webmaster will take the usual precautionary measures in order to maintain to the furthest extent the confidentiality of the information. Any transfer of a credit card number from the website is done in an encrypted manner according to regulations. However, in cases that are not under their control and/or arising out of force majeure, the Webmaster will not be liable for any damage, indirect or direct, that will be caused to the customer and/or anyone acting on their behalf, if such information is lost or used in an unauthorized manner, excluding if such damage is caused by the negligence (as determined by court) of the Webmaster.
The Webmaster will be entitled to use "cookies" - small text files stored by the Webmaster’s server on the hard drive of the computer that you use to browse, in order to provide you with fast and efficient service and save you the need of entering your personal information every time you log in. However, let it be clarified that cookies do not contain any information that identifies you personally and you can direct your browser software so that cookies are not entered into the computer or deleted.
Direct Mail and Advertising
Purchasing on the site and providing your personal information constitute your express consent to receive direct mailings and advertisements from the Webmaster and other sponsors of the conference, including by email, automatic dialing system or text message (SMS). You may at any time remove your information from the direct mailing list and/or cancel the reception of advertisements via the means listed above by contacting the Webmaster or sponsor who sent you the communication. In any case, we can still send you messages that the law does not prevent us from sending to you, despite your refusal.
All intellectual property rights, including copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets and confidential information, in any material that will be edited and/or developed by the Webmaster, will be the sole and complete property of the Webmaster.
Without detracting from the above mentioned, the site, including icons, any information and/or display appearing on the site including graphics, design, verbal presentation, trademarks, logos and the editing and presentation of these, including the services and content on the site, text, illustrations, drawings, sounds, graphics, animations, software applications, graphs and images are the property of the Webmaster and/or have been licensed by third parties and are protected by the copyright laws of the State of Israel, international treaties, and copyright laws of other countries. All rights reserved to the Webmaster and/or third parties respectively.
The customer may not modify, copy, store, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, transfer or sell the services and/or content, in whole or in part, without the explicit written consent of the Webmaster in advance.
Without detracting from the above mentioned, the client hereby agrees to refrain from any use that may harm the Webmaster and/or third parties, and agrees not to make any commercial use of the services and/or the content provided within the site.
Updates and changes - if any significant changes in the conference or its existence shall arise, the customer will be informed of this on the conference website. However, the Webmaster will make every effort to update the participants by email / phone.

All site terms and rules of use are valid for purchases made through the website and / or by phone with the webmaster.
Any legal dispute related to these regulations and/or the conference will be discussed in the courts in Tel Aviv.
Conference Rules of Conduct
On each day of the conference, you must register at the entrance by presenting a proof of purchase / receipt (printed or via mobile phone) along with a valid ID.
Upon registration on the first day, each participant will receive a bag containing the conference materials. Reproduction, transfer, distribution, duplication, publication, or sale of the content, in whole or in part, temporary or permanent, is prohibited in any form without the written consent of the Webmaster in advance.
Buying an entrance ticket to the conference constitutes confirmation that you are aware and certify that there is a chance that you will be photographed during the conference and that your image will be used for the purposes of the Webmaster.
There are no seating arrangements at the conference, each customer will be able to independently choose their seat.
A customer who has requested at the time of booking that they want a headset for simultaneous translation will need to verify that they receive the headset when registering at the conference entrance.
The Leonardo City Tower Hotel and the conference room are accessible for people with disabilities.
Alcohol, drugs, dangerous substances, firearms, and weapons are strictly prohibited.
Holding a sale / peddling is absolutely forbidden in the conference area without prior written permission from the Webmaster.
